Breakfast Egg Casserole
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 1 can Grands Original Southern Style biscuits (8 count)
- 1 1/2 lb freshly shredded cheddar cheese (we prefer Tillamook)
- 1 small onion & bell pepper (optional)
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 dozen eggs
- 2 tsp One & Done
Do you have a group of people you are entertaining for breakfast? This casserole is super easy to make and doesn't require any special ingredients.
Cook the sausage and saute the onions/peppers (optional). Set aside. Mix eggs, milk and One & Done thoroughly. Add cheese, sausage and onions/peppers. Cut biscuits into small cubes and fold into mixture.
Spray your 9 X 13 glass pan with cooking spray. Cook covered with foil for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove foil and just lay it on top, like a tent, for about another 10 minutes. Then remove the foil and cook for another 5-10 minutes until it's lightly golden brown. It is done when it no longer jiggles. Remove from the oven and let it rest for at least 30 minutes. It will continue cooking and thicken up as it cools down. We believe it tastes a lot better once you let it cool down. Simply add more One & Done as needed to the finished product.
